The health of groups and within the groups, October 26-28, 2018

The XI Association of Professionals in Humanistic Psychology and Transactional Analysis Conference, will be held in Bilbao on October 26, 27 and 28, 2018, under the theme “The health of groups and within the groups”.

During this meeting we will share a variety of training activities of the hands of colleagues from different professional practice fields (clinical, educational, organizational and social); with them we can learn, reflect and share our experiences as humanistic professionals in group work as a way to promote people’s well-being and growth.

Groups (family, professional, social…) sometimes provoke suffering in individuals and in the groups themselves. Within a group we can experience our growth restricted, our needs denied, our rhythm violated, our spontaneity blocked, our intimacy hindered.

And, at the same time, groups can be health-promoting and offer reparative experiences to people, who can heal previous wounds, and encourage men and women to expand their potential and develop a full life.

In this conference we intend to offer the arena for professional meetings in which to enrich every one with what each participant does in its practice, in the work place. And, at the same time, we would like this conference to be an example of how working together in a group -such as the one composed by APPHAT members and all the colleagues who accompany us- allow all of us to go back home having learned, grown and enjoyed in relation.

We will have the valuable participation of Dr. Gloria Noriega Gayol and Eva Sylvie Rossi among the presenters so, together with the contributions of the participants, it assures us a stimulating, rich and enriching event in a shared learning and enjoyment.

On this website you will find all the necessary information about the organization, contents, activities and other issues of interest related to this event.

The deadline to submit your proposal for the scientific program will be open until April 30.

Come to meet them and participate! We look forward to seeing you in Bilbao!
