July 2010 -  the COC Report - presented to the Council

Many thanks to Dave: I would like to add to this notice a public appreciation from COC, and from me personally, to Dave Spenceley, who has been in charge of exams as Supervising Examiner since July 2004, and has offered his services to our community with paramount generosity.

The job of the Supervising Examiner is a very demanding one, and he took his commitment very seriously for all these years: his contribution was great in defining the job descriptions of the several roles in our certification system and the right procedure to be followed, as well as managing the many complex challenges involved.

As a member of COC he was always very committed, reacting quickly to the issues that arose during these years, and careful in dealing with the extremely sensitive role of being responsible for appeals. We shall miss you!

Marco Mazzetti  - Chairperson of the Commission of Certification
