EATA associations and COVID-19

Dear members,

covid 19 crisis touches us all – as persons and professionals. As humans, as professionals and as community we are requested to react and to take responsibility for our own situation, for the situation of our clients and patients and for our environments.

We experience suffering and emergency as well as solidarity and creativity. One of the experiences that we appreciate in this crisis is the reliability of contact and relationships. In this line and with the inspiration of Susanna Ligabue we will install on EATA homepage a space for exchange of European and worldwide experiences with this crisis. The name of this space is:

“EATA associations and COVID-19”

If you want to publish there do it via Kristýna Tomanová, cc-chair@eatanews.org

  • How are the different situations?
  • What are the problems and needs?
  • What are strategies of coping with the crisis?
  • How do you perceive chances in these times?

We want to offer a space for contact and exchange. So, we can learn from each other and experience that we are not alone.

Peter Rudolph

EATA President

Situation in Turkey and ATAD

How are the different situations in our countries and associations? In informal conversations with fellow-practitioners and friends in other countries, it seems that in general people are going through similar experiences. What we see on the news also seems to confirm this as being the case. However, on reflection there are some noteworthy differences in Turkey. For over a month

Inperformat Association Report during the Covid 19 emergency

Dear EATA,  I gladly report what is happening in Italy for our patients and groups of therapy during the Covid 19 emergency. Our professionals have tried to continue their working remotely using various platforms. However, they succeeded with 50% of patients, because not all the patients accept remote relationships. Many of our young colleagues therefore have difficulties with their patients
